Sunrise Yoga

The Williams House offers Yoga on the front lawn of the Inn. Our class incorporates flow sequences and short holds to improve balance, strength, and flexibility. We link our movements with our breath to focus on ourselves, a perfect way to relieve stress. Poses will be modified for all levels in this series that will leave students energized and centered.

A Moonlight Yoga class is offered at 6pm, Thursday evenings and Sunrise Yoga is offered at 7:30am Saturday mornings. Guests, as well as local community members are welcome to join the class. Community members should call 904-277-2328 for reservations. Guests staying at our Inn can book directly here on the website. The cost of the class is $35/person. We have yoga mats to use if you don’t have your own. Mats are sanitized after each use.

Meet Ariel Marinel, our Yoga Instructor

If you can believe it, I was tricked into taking my first yoga class and I have thanked my lucky stars ever since! Yoga is an amazing way to de-stress, get some ‘you’ time, and a way to move and connect with your body. One of my favorite things about yoga: You don’t have to be flexible, you just have to have a body. I was certified to teach yoga in 2003. Since then, I have been teaching all around New England and California, and now on Amelia Island. I have taken many continuing education courses to expand my knowledge and practiced different styles to learn as much information as possible. I love to lead a fun class and students should expect to feel as challenged as they want to be and more than a little relaxed afterwards. Fernandina Beach is such a vibrant community, and I am so excited to share a practice at The Williams House! My family and I moved to the island in late 2020 and have really enjoyed getting to know the area and the community.
