About the Event
Enjoy “Mindful Focus” as you create a beautiful mandala masterpiece guided by local artist Viktoria Koval. Mandalas, meaning “circles” in Sanskrit, are sacred symbols that are used for meditation, prayer, healing and art therapy for both children and adults. Cost is $35 and includes all materials, 6×6 canvas plus display easel. Payment can be made in person at the store or through our website. Call 904-217-7250 for more information.

Healing power of Mandala Mandalas, meaning “circles” in Sanskrit, are sacred symbols that are used for meditation, prayer, healing and art therapy for both children and adults. Mandalas have been shown in clinical studies to boost the immune system, reduce stress and pain, lower blood pressure, promote sleep and ease depression.
Mandalas are used for insight, healing and self-expression in a circular design, reflecting the wholeness of the person creating it. This spiritual circle helps promote mindfulness, focus attention and promote healing. Carl Jung described a mandala as “a representation of the unconscious self.”
A mandala hanging over the wall can also serve as protection of negative energy and unwelcomed emotions of anger, hatred or depression.
