Community Cultural Education: Immigration & Refugee History – A Conversation with WeaveTales

September 11, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Participants will learn information about immigration trends and history in Northeast Florida and engage in small group discussions about how people have been included in and become vital parts of our communities.

Community Cultural Education programming at MOSH is part of our ongoing commitment to promoting inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility throughout our Northeast Florida communities. MOSH has partnered with many excellent local organizations and individual experts and leaders to design a series of programs intended to bring people from all over Jacksonville together to talk about the challenges and opportunities we have to work together for the good of the whole community.

Light refreshments will be provided.

This event is free and open to the public. Please RSVP below.

MOSH is grateful for the generosity and support from the Florida Humanities Council, who is sponsoring the entire series of Community Cultural Education programs for 2022-2023.
