Friday Musical, a venerable Jacksonville institution for over 130 years, provides FREE Concerts throughout the year. The concerts are typically classical music, but sometimes feature other types of music as well. This organization is proud to provide an important cultural service to the Jacksonville community.

The park offers a diverse schedule of free events, which gives you numerous chances for a great time without breaking the bank. The 1904 Music Hall’s free Monday Night Funk Jams are a great way to spend your evening. These sessions include a variety of themes and sometimes even a special guest. The 1904 Music Hall is a historic venue located in the heart of Downtown Jacksonville. The free Monday night jam sessions are a great opportunity to experience the music hall and enjoy some free live music. The sessions are led by a professional house band and feature guest musicians from the community.
Catch some great music on your lunch hour! The Live at Lunch series in James Weldon Johnson Park is an excellent chance to catch some wonderful local talant every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The lineup is always changing. Grab a bite to eat at one of the featured food trucks while you enjoy the music.
